2D regions may be copied to the clipboard and subsequently pasted into other 2D windows. To copy a region from within a 2D window:
1) Activate the 2D region by double clicking on it within a 2D window. The Window Tools dialog box appears along with handles around the 2D region indicating it is active and capable of being either moved, deleted from the window, or copied to the clipboard.
2) Choose the Copy command from the Edit menu. This places a copy of the 2D region into the clipboard.
3) Activate the target 2D window by clicking on the window's title bar. The window title bar will change appearence to indicate the window is now active.
4) Choose the Paste command from the Edit menu. The 2D region is pasted into the target window.
5) Click OK on the Window Tools dialog box to flag WinMDI you are done with the region manipulation.
To Copy a region from the RegionTool:
1) Select the Region from the list.
2) Click the Copy button.
3) Activate the target 2D window by clicking on the window's title bar. The window title bar will change appearence to indicate the window is now active.
4) Choose the Paste command from the Edit menu. The 2D region is pasted into the target window.
5) Click OK on the Window Tools dialog box to flag WinMDI you are done with the region manipulation.
