Deleting 2D Regions

To Delete a 2D region from a specific window, but retain it in the region list:

1) Activate the 2D region by double clicking on it within a 2D window. The Window Tools dialog box appears along with handles around the 2D region indicating it is active and capable of being either moved, deleted, or copied to the clipboard.

2) Choose the Delete command from the Edit menu (or, simply use the Delete key on the keyboard). This deletes the region from the active window

3) Click OK on the Window Tools dialog box to flag WinMDI you are done with the region manipulation.

To Delete a 2D Region from the region list and remove it from all windows:

Method 1

1) Activate the 2D region by double clicking on it within a 2D window. The Window Tools dialog box appears along with handles around the 2D region indicating it is active and capable of being either moved, deleted, or copied to the clipboard.

2) Click on the Delete button in the Window Tools Dialog Box. This will delete the region from the region list and remove it from any other windows. Any windows having gate logic associated with the region receive notification to turn off the logic because the region has been removed from the region list.

3) Click OK on the Window Tools dialog box to flag WinMDI you are done with the region manipulation.

Method 2

1) Activate the 2D Regions Dialog Box by either selecting Regions from the window's popup menu or 2D Regions from then Tools menu.

2) Select the region number to be deleted using the radio button panel.

3) Click on the Delete button. This will delete the region from the region list and remove it from any other windows. Any windows having gate logic associated with the region receive notification to turn off the logic because the region has been removed from the region list.

4) Click the Close button on the 2D Regions dialog box to flag WinMDI you are done with the region manipulation.
