Tools Batch Command

The Batch command allows the user to setup the batch through a dialog box. The batch runs in 3 simple steps:

  1. Print the contents of the Format Print Page (if option is checked).

  2. Pause N seconds (10 seconds is the default) between iterations.

  3. Increment file extension in all windows by the number selected.

The Print job goes to the default printer, so any Printer setup ought to be done before running WinMDI and any Batch.

If the Format Print Page is not initialized, the batch dialog shows the startup logo in its place. In Version 2.8 the Batch supports tab delimited text output.
